For Grimelange, we developed “Alter Basic” as a conceptual framework that reinterprets essential garments through an art-driven perspective.

The project focuses on transforming everyday clothing elements into visual objects by drawing inspiration from artistic practices such as composition, balance, spatial relationships, and minimal intervention. Rather than simply presenting products, we approached each piece as an object within a curated visual environment.

“Alter Basic” merges minimal design with conceptual thinking, repositioning basic garments within an alternative aesthetic language. In this approach, clothing becomes more than a functional item. It becomes a visual statement, a design gesture, and a conceptual expression.

Throughout the project, Grimelange’s functional and minimal design language was preserved while product placements, visual compositions, and social media storytelling were restructured. Each visual was developed as part of a cohesive system that expands the brand’s “basic” philosophy through an art-driven lens.

This project reflects our neo-native methodology, where we move beyond traditional content production to create art-based conceptual frameworks and sustainable visual systems for brands.
