BETWEEN STATES Campaign

BETWEEN STATES — BAQA
For BAQA, we developed an editorial that moves away from defined structures and into a space of in-betweenness; where body, garment, and environment exist in a constant state of shift.
Rather than building a narrative around architecture or urban context, the project is grounded in natural elements: sand, water, wind, and gravity. These elements are not used as a backdrop, but as active forces that shape the composition.
Chairs appear displaced, partially functional, or entirely out of context. The body interacts with them not through comfort, but through tension, balance, and release. Each gesture suggests a moment of transition, between control and surrender, stability and collapse.
The garments follow the same logic. Structured silhouettes meet fluid movement, creating a contrast that feels unresolved yet intentional. Nothing is fully fixed; everything exists in a subtle state of drift.
From concept to execution, we approached the project as a study of instability, building a visual language where elegance is not defined by perfection, but by how it holds itself within imbalance.
